Refurbished Sony Smartphones

Honestly amazed. I was a bit nervous and thought I'd never buy something like a phone second hand but I read the other reviews and took the leap and honestly I'm so happy with my new (to me) phone! Was rated good but barely any noticeable marks. I can get that new phone feeling without spending a fortune. We should all move away from the consumerism and buy refurbished! Will definitely come back when I'm ready for another change.

Absolutely stunning. You've done it again, Backmarket. Item was sold as 'fair', however, I think condition is near-perfect. Always loved Sony, just wish it hadn't taken me so long to restart our relationship. 😃

Phone is definitely light and thin (I wanted something compact and is was a s small as I could find) and a more powerful upgrade than my old Xperia. I disappointed with continued move to Google everything - no sony specific messaging, albums, files etc. As far as I can see at the mo. My phone also has several Japanese aps that are auto installed and can't be removed - not sure if this is Sony or from previous user.

Can't fault you for product. Other than phone being incorrectly labelled on box (slight panic until I realised it was a higher status phone that was labelled) you'd never realise phone 2nd hand. Appearance pristine, operates fine. Thanks. Will definitely consider and recommend Black market as a place to consider for tech.

The phone had to go back. Seemed to be in great condition - like new - but I could not get voice calls working. Nor could my network's tech help. Or the manufacturer's. The seller issued a full refund without fuss, so I'm content and had the confidence to order again.

Website is very easy to use and explains everything with information being easily accessible. I had a little worry about a 2nd hand phone, but it's better for the environment,and all I really need it to do is work and that it does! The phone was in perfect condition,just a charge and it was ready to go. After a couple of weeks use, the battery seems to go a little quicker than my last device,but I expected that from a 2nd hand device. The phone itself is great, had Sony's in the past and liked the set up. I have come from a high quality model Samsung, so the camera isn't quite as good, but it's still very good. (I'm one of those parents that takes multiple pics of my baby every day!) Love the colour, one of the reasons for my purchase, but had lots of people comment lovely things about it too. Communication from back market was great, had no issues, so no reason for any customer service. The only tiny annoyance was the delivery, I wanted to make sure I was home to receive it, was given a 4 hour window and it came 1-2 hours after this, so wasted a day really. But that's a royal mail thing I believe! Verdict: 2nd hand phone, do it. (I have had about 3 weeks now)

After I lost my phone (put it on the roof of the car and forgot! Idiot!) I wasn't expecting to receive such a good quality replacement with all of the associated items. I was expecting ultimately to have to buy a new one. It was a very nice surprise as the replacement is virtually brand new, or at least you wouldn't know the difference. I would definitely recommend and again use 'Back Market' if I have a future need,

I had to buy a replacement for my gen 1 at short notice. I was about to buy a gen 4 from Amazon but decided to buy the gen 3 here because it was purple - instant love. The service was fast enough and I got a decent looking device. It was clean, packaged well and looked great. In general everything works and looks fine. Over time, I have noticed two main annoyances. They're not show stoppers, after all, I didn't purchase a brand new device. But this is a review of my experience, so this is my experience. I think the testing of your devices could be a little more thorough. Annoyance 1: The current battery life on this gen 3 is very similar to the current battery life on my gen 1. Given that my gen 1 is a couple of years older, I didn't expect this. But it means either my gen 1 battery is performing very well despite the 2019 release date or the 2021 release of the gen 3 is performing worse than it should. Annoyance 2: I'm still trying to figure out if the touchscreen has small dead spots or if it is intermittently unresponsive/hyperactive. When I'm watching videos (YT or VLC) it very often takes 6 or 8 taps for only 2 of them to register. But in contrast, and this has only happe...

Great experience of purchasing Sony Xperia 1 v Green from Back Market. Even though condition of the phone was Good, but the phone was almost flawless. I was pleasantly surprised. I got quick delivery Phone was well packaged Sadly phone got stolen after 2 weeks. Broke my heart, i loved the phone. But A* service from Back Market. I will be coming back to buy another one soon.
