    My Honest Review of My Recent Order from Back Market I recently placed an order through Back Market and wanted to share my experience with anyone considering buying refurbished tech from them. I ordered a MacBook Pro Retina 15-inches (2018) and was pleasantly surprised overall. The device arrived earlier than expected and was well-packaged, with no signs of damage during shipping. In terms of condition, I chose the Good option as there was a deal, and I’d say it lived up to expectations. I didn’t find any scratches or dents. Functionally, the device worked right out of the box. I ran a few tests, and everything from the battery health to the screen responsiveness and camera seemed solid. I really appreciated the eco-conscious approach and the fact that I saved a good amount compared to buying the same brand-new device. It also came with a 12-month warranty, which gave me peace of mind. That said, the device is heating up very quickly, and I am unsure if that’s supposed to happen. The heat reaches a point where keeping the device on my lap is unbearable. I reached out to BM and followed recommendations which was helpful. Final Verdict: I’d consider using Back Market again.     Oooo-wee, but I *l*o*v*e* this machine. Bought it because it cost less than the MacBook Air I was first looking at. To start with, not only did it arrive early and fully charged, it's in mint condition, despite my buying "fair". Absolutely stunning and works like a dream. Kudos to the refurbisher who has done a BRILLIANT job. As for the MacBook Pro itself, I don't know why the touch bar gets a bad press, I find it unobtrusive and most helpful when I need it. My best purchase from Back Market so far and thrilled with it, thank you.

    This MacBook Pro was in really good condition. `There were a couple of tiny scratches but that is being very picky as they were barely visible . I am thrilled with my purchase. I did have reservations regarding purchasing a reconditioned laptop but, so far, have not been disappointed. I ordered the MacBook on Friday and received it on the following Tuesday. I was kept informed every step of the way. Would definitely recommend this company and, indeed, have done so already!

    Here’s a professional yet firm review for your experience: I recently purchased a MacBook from this website and, overall, I am very satisfied with its performance. The laptop functions smoothly, meets my expectations, and I truly appreciate the quality Apple provides. However, I specifically chose the “Fair” condition option, fully aware that it might come with some superficial damage. What disappointed me was the unethical practice of placing a “No Return if Removed” sticker over a hidden additional damage. This felt deceptive and unprofessional, as it prevented me from fully assessing the laptop’s condition before committing to keeping it. Transparency is crucial when selling refurbished or pre-owned devices. If the company had been upfront about the actual condition, I would have still considered the purchase but with the right expectations. Other than this issue, I’m happy with the laptop itself and hope it lasts me a long time. I just wish the customer experience had been more honest and professional.

There are visible scuffs and damage to the case around the screen, which clearly doesn’t align with what I’d expect from an item graded as excellent. Additionally, there’s a noticeable gap between the screen and the case, allowing light to leak through—something that indicates poor assembly or wear. While I appreciate the idea behind refurbished electronics and sustainability, it’s disappointing when the quality grading isn’t accurate.
