Ah yes, the iPhone X vs iPhone XR, such a classic iPhone comparison! This is a really easy one, and even though the iPhone XR may seem completely superior to the iPhone X, these devices cater towards different types of users.

The iPhone XR has superior battery life, a newer processor, and a bigger display. But the iPhone X is slightly smaller and has a better display. So it’s really up to you: do you want the sleeker iPhone X or the newer iPhone XR?

iPhone XR has a height of 150.9 mm, width of 75.7 mm, thickness of 8.3 mm and weighs 174 grams.

The iPhone XR screen size is 6.1 inches and 828 x 1792 pixels, giving the iPhone XR resolution 326 ppi.  

On the other hand, iPhone X is 5.8 inches with 1125 x 2436 pixels, resulting in 458 ppi. 

Overall, the OLED screen in the iPhone X gives it a sharper and more vibrant display compared to the LCD screen on the XR. It is also a thinner phone which makes it feel sleeker although some users may prefer the larger screen on the iPhone XR.

Even though the iPhone XR is a newer device, we’d rather have the camera feature in the iPhone X because of its second lens which gives you a zoomed-in portrait mode that beautifully blurs backgrounds. The iPhone XR also has a portrait mode and blurs backgrounds, but it uses software to do this artificially, so you can still expect portrait shots to look better on an iPhone X. Therefore, if you’re trying to decide between the iPhone X vs XR and need the model with better camera performance, you should probably buy a used & refurbished iPhone X!
