iPhone X vs iPhone 11 Comparison

iPhone X vs iPhone 11: more different than you may have thought

Not sure whether you should buy the iPhone X or iPhone 11? In our opinion, this is a hard choice, because although in terms of specs the iPhone 11 might look like a totally superior device, these are two very different phones that were built for different types of users. The iPhone 11 has a processor that’s 2 generations newer, so it’s noticeably faster and more energy efficient. This makes it better for mobile gaming, especially when you add in the fact that the 11 has a bigger screen and battery than the X. You can expect to get approximately 13 hours of video playback on the iPhone X before your battery dies, while the iPhone 11 can last about 17 hours doing the same task. Yes, that’s a huge jump in battery life, but there are a few reasons why you may still want to buy the older iPhone X.

iPhone X vs iPhone 11: newer isn’t always better, OLED vs LCD screen technology, battery life comparison

Despite being older, the refurbished iPhone X has these advantages over the iPhone 11: sleeker build, OLED screen technology, and smaller size. The OLED screen technology featured in the iPhone X may eat up more battery than the LCD screen featured in the iPhone 11, but it also gives you more dynamic range. What does that mean? You can expect colours to have more “pop.” All colour hues will generally have more depth. This, of course, is a matter of preference, and some people even prefer LCD screens for their more mild colours. Regardless, the iPhone X also has a thinner and sleeker build, which enables it to feel much better tucked away in a pocket or while being held in your hand. It’s a better phone if you’re always on the move and need a phone that can keep up with a fast-paced lifestyle—with the iPhone X battery size being the one downside. But still, it will probably be enough to last you a full day, although not nearly as plentiful as the battery capacity of the iPhone 11.

iPhone X size vs 11: what size is an iPhone 11 and how much bigger is it than the X?

Apple iPhone size comparisons are always one of the first specs people consider. Since it directly affects how you use the phone daily, it does make a lot of sense to compare iPhone sizes.

Size of iPhone X:

  • Height: 143.6 mm
  • Width: 70.9 mm
  • Depth: 7.7 mm
  • Weight: 194 grams

Size of iPhone 11:

  • Height: 150.9 mm
  • Width: 71.4 mm
  • Depth: 8.1 mm
  • Weight: 188 grams

Looking at the dimensions of the iPhone X and iPhone 11 though, they're pretty similar. The main difference is going to be the height, with the 11 being a little taller and having a bigger 6.1-inch screen (vs 5.8 inches in the iPhone X).

iPhone X vs 11: which one you should buy, depending on how you use your phone

So, there is our sum-up of the major differences between the iPhone X specs vs iPhone 11 specs. As you can tell, it’s hard to decide between these two devices since they both seem to balance out one another. But let me break it down like this: if you spend a lot of time on the move and don’t see yourself as a heavy user that eats up a lot of battery life throughout your day, go for our refurbished iPhone X. If you work in an office and spend most of your day by an electric outlet where you can plug in a charger, I’d also go for the iPhone X. But if you’re a heavy user that likes to dabble in mobile games or just reads a lot of content, our refurbished iPhone 11 may be a better choice for you :D Our iPhone 11 price starts at £219.
