The delivery time was excellent after changing the DPD delivery point. On the face of it the laptop itself is in very good condition, taking into account that most of the seen surfaces have had overlays during refurbishment, some can be felt on the corners. This takes me to the worst feature of the refurb; the keys have had overlays, which makes the keyboard illumination rather poor, originally a well regarded feature of the laptop make and model. Since I often use the computer at night, this is not its best feature. This is why the loss of a rating star. From a purely operational point of view, I couldn't fault it, the transfer from the 'old' computer was flawless. The battery life is somewhat short of perfect, giving a full charge of maybe 6 hours, a bit less than the 13 hours to be expected from new, but that is to be expected with a refurbished product, and anyway I rarely use it away from a power source. So a good four stars, let down by the resulting poor keyboard lighting from the refurbishment.

The laptop is in almost perfect condition, especially considering it was graded as "Fair." The display looks excellent on the device itself, with no visible flaws. I was initially disappointed by the American keyboard layout, but I’ve since adjusted and now find it manageable. Windows appeared to be functioning properly, but I quickly replaced it with Debian KDE—and everything works flawlessly, including drivers and hardware compatibility. The device was packaged very securely, which I appreciated. However, it included a starter guide for setting up a MacBook, which seems like a clear packaging error. That said, it didn’t affect the overall quality or performance of the laptop.
