    (second attempt!) We've had a struggle, to be honest. 15 attempts to create a new password failed at the last fence, when the verification step either produced nothing, or a message saying effectively "Can't do it; try later" An expert neighbour talked to an Apple agent, who freed the blockage - thought to be caused by an incomplete cleen sweep of the pc. Since then we've clawed our way into Apple-land, but it hasn't appeare as user-friendly as our expert promised! I'll probably stick to my Win 11, while struggling to help my wife get to grips with the new system.

    The computer works well and meets expectations, but it comes with a tiny power cable and a plastic keyboard and mouse, which would have been better if they had spared it.
