5/5I bought a standard PS4 shortly after they were launched but lost it at the start of this year, I had bought a lot of games on the online store that I didn't think I'd get to use ever again I'd been looking at all the usual places to get my game back on, Back Market was one of the places but this time I wanted a PS4 Pro and had seen a few offers listed but when I did "go" for this one not really knowing what to expect with it being my first ever purchase on BM I wasn't prepared for just how brilliant the console I'd get would be and it absolutely 💯 is and I am truly grateful for getting back into my digital library far sooner than I ever hoped I would everything from the arrival time to the packaging, contents was absolutely perfect Many Thanks to everyone concerned, I'm already deciding what my next buy will be, I just have to pay this one off first 🏆 All the Best, Peter PS The Console was listed as Good but to my eye when it arrived I couldn't see any signs of previous use, it was a bit stoorie but that was nothing I couldn't sort out with a few multi surface wet wipes sparingly used around the console and joypad, the main thing was plugging it in, connecting and registering my PSN account in next to no-time, downloading a few of my goto games and playing them later the same night 😀

2.8/5Ordered PlayStation 4 knowing it was second hand refurbed however it said it was in good condition, when it arrived it was extremely dirty, yes we can easily clean this however to me that means the condition is “fair” not good. Also when turning on the PlayStation made so much noise, we had to take it apart to clean the whole fan inside as it seemed like the dirt had built up over years and years! Not a satisfied customer.

1.8/5The good bits - easy purchase, arrived promptly, and the no-quibble returns went very smoothly, so this is still a recommendation for Backmarket. Unfortunately the unit itself was terrible. It arrived badly packaged (rattling around with only a small air cushion on one side). To comply with the return i had to repackage it. The unit was dirty, I cleaned part of it before even turning it on as it was kind of gross. When turned on the fan was incredibly loud, like the volume of a hoover. This seems to be a common thing with early Pros and would require reapplying thermal paste and cleaning the unit out. This obviously hadn't been done despite the refurbishment claim. Unit was shut down, and returned with no issues for a full refund. I highlighted these issues to Backmarkets customer support. To be clear, I've purchased through Backmarket before for phones and other devices and this is the only time i've needed to return an item. I'll be happy to attempt to purchase another PS4 through this site soon.
