First and last Backmarket / refurbished tech experience. Excellent condition ? Trusted suppliers ? Structured refurbishing process ? Just marketing to get you. I bought a laptop that was supplied by Anovix Ltd. I could see scratches from further than 20 cm and stickers marks on the chassis. I was ready to get past that and as soon as I turned the computer on, I could see a discoloration at the bottom right. Yes, I still could use the laptop. However, when you purposefully buy an excellent condition laptop, spend more money to have peace of mind, you expect at least to have everything fully functional. Backmarket's policy says the screen should be "flawless" - "Almost no signs of wear". Interesting definition... Do you wonder why they put the “manufacturer’s pictures” and not the “actual item’s pictures” ? Backmarket's policy says their suppliers have to agree to refurbishing processes ? Clearly, it’s a marketing tool to rollout stock and surcharge people... It took 10 days to get a full refund since I returned the item. It's because of this kind of behaviour, trying to take advantage of people, that trust is broken.
