The device was a Christmas present and on Christmas Day was unusable by my son as it was locked to the previous owner. The device is not refurbished AT ALL. It is simply someone else’s computer passed on to me. Backmarket were responsive about sending a return label, but the DHL service they use is utterly hopeless. I have been to 4 DHL locations, none of which are able to scan the barcode.

Still confused as to what happened but the seller and/or Backmarket somehow managed to assign the wrong shipping info to my order. Never received the laptop, order was cancelled, once I got in touch with the seller they didn’t have the laptop anymore so probably sent it to someone else in error or had already sold it but took my money anyway. Got my full refund, but would rather have had the laptop I spent ages researching and choosing. Bad experience all round, poor customer service, not reflective of previous experiences.

Do you know none of your customer service links work and have not been working for at least three weeks?? I had a problem with this laptop which made me aware of this - there's absolutely no way of contacting you! No email, no phone number, just a link in the "Ask for help" section which logs me out at the point of clicking on "contact customer service" link. Absolutely rubbish and possibly even illegal. I will not be buying anything else from you which is a shame because I really like everything else about your company.

After sending back the item I was promised another laptop by the seller, and after being told it was being sent I was then informed they decided to sell it to someone else at a better price and then stopped responding. To top it off they insulted me with a 5% discount code as “substitute”. Appalling shopping experience and I will never be buying from here again.
