Cyber Monday Apple deals: How to save big now instead

Cyber Monday Apple deals: How to save big now instead

Let’s get straight to the point: you need to shop for refurbished Apple products if you actually want to save money. Apple makes some of the best smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and laptops available today. But they come at a premium price. Here on Back Market, you can instead find offers on all Apple products during Cyber Monday – and every other day that ends in “y.” Skip their gift card offer, and shop smart and sustainable by choosing refurbished.

Will Apple be having any Cyber Monday sales?

***No.

We can keep this part short and sweet: Apple never offers any limited-time discounts on their products. This of course includes the Cyber Monday sale this year.

The good news is that Apple isn’t the only retailer that sells Apple devices. So while Apple won’t be having any Cyber Monday deals, you can find deals on Apple devices during Cyber Monday.

Where to find an iPad Air Cyber Monday deal?

Big retailers will surely have Cyber Monday iPad deals. However, we tend to expect modest price reductions, usually around 15%.

One of the most popular models in the line is the iPad Air. So as an example, let’s look at the 2022 5th-generation iPad Air.

The iPad Air 5 sells new for £669. If you’re lucky, you might be able to find a Cyber Monday deal for something like £600 instead. Maybe. While supplies last.

Instead of that, you can just buy a refurbished iPad Air at Back Market. On our site, we sell the iPad Air 5 in excellent condition for £600. And that’s a definite £600 you don’t have to get lucky to find. And actually, you can buy it for as low as £550 in good condition.

Of course, that’s only one model. We recommend looking at older models of iPads too.  Tablets do see some improvements year-over-year, but they’re pretty minimal in our opinion.

Is it possible to find Cyber Monday Apple Watch deals?

The Apple Watch is another popular Apple product that many people will be looking for during Cyber Monday.

Looking at some of the big retailers’ early deals, well, we hope you didn’t wait the whole year to buy a new Apple Watch. Most seem to be pushing the Apple Watch Series 8 at a £20 discount. For a smartwatch that starts at £419, it’s not exactly what we’d call a deal.

What do we call a deal? Well, a refurbished Apple Watch Series 7 can be had for £259. Compare that to the £369 it released for in 2021, and then consider that the price will only continue to drop as time goes on.

Sorry, the Series 7 doesn’t include body temperature monitoring or crash deduction or another hour of battery life like the Series 8 does – features that we were all eagerly waiting for, surely. 🙄 But we think that most people will manage fine with keeping the extra money in their pockets instead.

So yes, it is possible to find Cyber Monday Apple Watch deals: you just have to look away from the shiny advertising that big retailers will put in front of you.

Are there any cheap iPhones for sale on Cyber Monday?

iPhones are definitely some of the most expensive smartphones in the world. Still, they’re some of the most popular too. Each year, Apple releases a new iPhone, and each year, Apple sells a ton of them.

The most popular Apple iPhones are sure to be the new iPhone 14 and previous iPhone 13 series. We think you may be able to find these iPhones a little cheaper during Cyber Monday. But I think you know what we’re going to suggest instead. . .

From the iPhone 6 to the latest iPhone 14, Back Market has the cheapest refurbished iPhones for sale on Cyber Monday, and every other day of the year. Like al our refurbished items, there’s also a 12-month warranty and 30 day returns. Oh, and of course, they’re 30-70% off compared to their new prices.

Cyber Monday Apple deals: don’t hold your breath

There won’t be any Apple sales on Apple’s website or in their stores. Not for Cyber Monday or for Black Friday 2022. This much we can be sure of.

***Yes, they do offer a little gift card when you buy their latest models full-price. But that’s hardly what we call a deal.

So we highly recommend, suggest and encourage you to buy refurbished Apple products instead. Here’s why in four short sentences:

  • The deals are way better.

  • The deals are available every single day.

  • The devices are just as good as new.

  • It helps prevent additional e-waste.

Cyber Monday is a day that companies spend more on advertising, with the goal of tempting people to buy things they don’t need. 😟 This leads to increased electronic waste and the unnecessary production of new goods.

We want you to consider buying refurbished products only if you really need them. The new Apple iPad Pro, Apple AirPods Pro, Apple Watch SE, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air – sure, they all look tempting. But they're not exactly necessary electronics or upgrades to have.

And as we said, these deals aren’t going anywhere! 😉 So while you can save big now by buying refurbished Apple products, it’s best to put off purchases until you really need them. That way, you not only save money, you help save the planet. 💚

Will Apple be having any Cyber Monday sales?

No. They do technically offer a little gift card when you buy their latest models full-price. But that’s not exactly what we'd call a sale.
