Hello. It took me a while to start using it fully. Obviously I was exited to have my Lenovo machine for second hand price and the configuration it had. That said a few issues happened. I did not want to sign in with a Microsoft account. There was difficulties at the beginning to be able to override the system to sign in with a local account. The keyboard misplaced (symbols not corresponding to their actual places) characters did not help initially too. Up to now, has most of the characters that are not the letter or number, misplaced still. I am having to use an external keyboard to use it (not nice). I tried a few things after watching YouTube videos on the topic but did not manage to fix it. Another negative point, although partially expected, is the battery. It overheats and does not last much (about 1h). At the back of the keyboard where the batteries are, it keep hots most of the time. Sometimes it feels like you can fry and egg there. Once, even with the laptop on sleep mode, the fan went on. This time I touched where the batteries are and it was hot. It did not feel good to have the laptop on sleep mode, then the fan goes on due to battery heat. So, I am not used to that as my former laptop (super good) had its battery removable, and I had it disconnected most of the time. I bought this new one because of the end of windows 10 and a little bit of overload in the old laptop. So I never had this battery issues with my laptop. I believe whoever used it before (the lenovo) did not care at all. I wonder what I can do to fix it and if it won't give me trouble once I start using it more regularly as planned. Also, what can I do in a few months to fix it? Can I buy an original battery from lenovo and install it myself? .. so that I would minimize or eliminate this issues? I don't know if you will respond. If you can it would be good. This is my first time buying with backmarket. Thanks. Marcos.
