I ordered this back in February and didn't immediately post a review as I wanted the opportunity to see how it performed on a day to day basis. Within weeks there were worrying signs appearing regarding technical glitches and peculiarities relating to its performance. These have steadily gotten worse over the course of the last six months to the point where I am now thoroughly dissatisfied with this laptop. Firstly, it runs extremely hot. If you're not simply browsing the internet or using Word, but are running any type of software where more than about 5% of the processing power is required, then the vent on the left hand side becomes so hot that, were it resting on my lap, it would come close to burning my left leg. Also, as soon as it's running anything mildly resource-hungry the volume on the fan increases to the point where it becomes really distracting. The next issue is to do with the mouse and touchpad control. After a couple of hours' use, the cursor develops a mind of its own and suddenly starts jumping and glitching around the screen; not only that, but it often behaves as though the left click fuction is permanently pressed, so that any action that the cursor is hov...
