Initially the phone got very hot and the charge went down really quick but, with the help of your troubleshooting pages, I have rectified this and everything is fine and dandy. Great phone with an amazing camera!

2 Sony great but the first order came as wrong colour. Reorder was smooth and within 36 hrs although I made 3 attempt to redirect my order with Royal mail but there system didn't allow so I got my phone final on 4 days later. We frustrating. But device so far excellent.

Arrived in excellent condition as promised, looks like a Japanese import model that has hardly been used (virtually no marks or scratches to be seen but some Japanese apps installed). You warned me the device may not work with the Three network (which I'm on) but I took a gamble and it seems absolutely fine with my SIM card. Waiting for a case to arrive and not tested the camera yet but I have transferred most apps from my old phone. Spotify and the all-important headphone socket work perfectly! Screen quality is great. This is a key part of getting my life back on track after my old Sony was smashed up in a road accident when a careless van driver knocked me off my bike, landing me in hospital!

Had I known it was a Japanese speccd model rather than a European device I probably wouldn't have purchased it. Lots of bloatware! Most of it useless to me as I'm above the age group who sit relentlessly playing games and videos. Charging cable, supplied (other brand) doesn't do anything. That said, the Bravia Oled is awesome, as is the camera set up- worth the premium price tag. During set up it wanted to register with Sony Japan - it's taken a while to get rid of that notification, this going on whilst various other apps ads popping up- very annoying set up process.... Not sure if the battery was changed, even though I added that as an extra, else what's the point of a one off fee?

I ordered an "Excellent condition" refurbished phone but received a phone in fair condition. There were numerous scratches on the phone body and a couple of very noticeable scratches on the screen. The phone was also a Japanese version and not compatible with the UK's 5G network though worked fine with 4G. Because the phone was not in Excellent Condition as expected I sent the phone back for a full refund and ordered another phone in "Good condition" from one of BackMarket's competitors that arrived in much better condition than the supposedly "Excellent condition" phone from BackMarket and was also a UK phone. At least there were no problems returning the phone for a refund but I will not be using BackMarket again.

Device came in excellent condition, and works really well. It is hard to buy this model of phone and I love it, it's very compact, great screen and camara, still has headphone jack and SD card, and feels great quality. A minor issue but not enough to bother returning the device is that it seems to be a Japan model, meaning there are some quirks It Starts up in Japanese but it is easy to change the language, it has some pre installed Japanese apps that can't be deleted, you can't mute camara sounds (this is a law in Japan) and it seems to be 4G only on a UK sim.
