    Ordered the Google Pixel 6 and it came next day along with a charging cable. It was in excellent condition and I'm very impressed with the battery life. You honestly wouldn't know its not new other than a couple very minor marks which are covered by the case anyway.

    Screen broke after the phone was received. This meant we couldn’t know for sure whether it was wiped of data correctly before returning to seller (Backmarket policy says you must have done this, but we were told to return it anyway). Once it was with the seller for repair/replacement they asked (through Backmarket) for the device PIN, which we provided. They then stopped responding entirely to Backmarket and the resolution was to give us a refund. So we have no idea whether the vendor has access to our data or not, and Backmarket can’t do anything helpful.

    Since I received it, the phone has an annoying green dot that appears on the top of the screen. The sound of taking a photo or ending a video cannot be turned off. More recently (outside 30 day period) the battery has had a few unexpected plummets from 10% to 0%. Returning the phone for repair requires that I have another phone available in the interim which I don't have as my last phone, also from backmarket (and also a google pixel), also has a fault and is stuck in a loop of restarting. This fault was intermittant when I first received the phone and then became permanent but outside of 30 day period. Overall 2 negative experiences so while I appreciate what backmarket do in terms of re-use of devices, I won't be using the site again unfortunately.
