Despite saying that each would come with a charging cable, only one had a cable. Not a train smash but annoying. Phones both is great condition and are working fine.     The phone is in good condition, couldn’t see any scratches ect so in that respect excellent! My daughter couldn’t tell that it was refurbished:) It seems to be holding the charge well and working well (only been using for a couple of days so far) The faults, I ordered a white phone and received a black phone (too late to send back as was a birthday gift) There was a video of a man talking in the photo/video album I don’t think a factory reset had been done as it was very obvious the previous user was from Hong Kong, all of the settings, everything on iTunes all in that currency, the clock and time zone were all set to Hong Kong ect

    I bought this phone for my father who has an iPhone, but is now no longer supported. As my father only uses his iPhone for: photos, emails, calls, messages; and other basic things, it seemed expensive and unnecessary to buy him a brand new phone. Furthermore, he didn’t want to be tied into another contract. After seeing an advert for BackMarket this seemed a good way to get him a new phone, save money and the environment. When the phone came, it came in a BackMarket cardboard box. The box included the phone and power cable. The phone category chosen excellent or most popular (can’t remember which but both are supposed to be in mint condition) the phone was in mint condition, no scratches, dents or other blemishes. The phone also had power in the battery, which was helpful when transferring his data over from his previous phone. Overall, I found the experience top quality, with decent prices: products as described, swift despatch and delivery time, very informative and timely communication. I’m thinking of returning to BackMarket myself later this year for a phone when my contract runs out. I can get a virtually nee but cheaper phone and a cheaper sim-only contract. The money saving, quality of the products and environmental benefits means it is a win-win.
