    The laptop I bought was billed as “fair”. As it was guaranteed to be working perfectly in every respect and so I thought “I’m no fashion victim, I’m not proud; as I won’t be using it in public I’m not going to be tech-shamed for having scruffy gear”. So I went for a reasonably priced “fair” item. OK, it showed the effect of blunt force trauma with a minor ding on one corner - and I had to search for that - and a rough patch (and we’ve all had those) on the edge, the b*gger was immaculate. A few strokes of a fine file and the rough bit was gone. Backmarket is a force for good. They help to reduce the shameful attitude of waste we see everywhere around. That they also offer excellent, fully functional products for affordable prices is a bonus. A big one, as it happens and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

    Device arrived 2 days after purchased in a very structurally sound box and bubble covering. I ordered it in ‘fair’ condition as a few minor scratches didn’t matter too much to me, and it had one hairline scratch at the bottom of the screen and no where else on the laptop, and other than that there are no signs of ware or use at all. The battery health is on 86% which was expected with a refurbished product. Overall a great purchase which absolutely met my expectations. 5 ⭐️
