I recently purchased a laptop from Back Market listed in “excellent condition,” but unfortunately, the device I received does not meet that standard. There are visible scuffs and damage to the case around the screen, which clearly doesn’t align with what I’d expect from an item graded as excellent. Additionally, there’s a noticeable gap between the screen and the case, allowing light to leak through—something that indicates poor assembly or wear. While I appreciate the idea behind refurbished electronics and sustainability, it’s disappointing when the quality grading isn’t accurate. I’m hoping Back Market can address this and ensure more consistent quality control moving forward.

I ordered the MacBook Pro 16” M1 Pro 1TB 16GB RAM in Excellent Condition, And BackMarket did NOT disappoint!! The MacBook Arrived in it’s original Apple Box, the MacBook AND the chargers all still with the original Apple packaging! The MacBook itself had absolutely no signs of previous use, it’s like someone bought it from apple and left it in the box with the exception of the instructions being removed from the box and a hole being cut in the box for an extra charger! Which isn’t an issue for me at all!! I wasn’t sure if it WAS actually used in the past so I had a look through the settings to see how many battery Charge Cycles it had previously and it only had 2!!! And one of them was me because it was on charge as i was looking! So I am absolutely delighted, Basically brand-new and all for the price of a refurbished MacBook!! Couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Well recommended!

An honest review. Read this if you are unsure. I ordered the MacBook Pro M1 2020 (Very good/Excellent) and overall I'd say im happy with it. It's my first MacBook so there has been a slight learning curve but nothing too difficult. It's great for what I need it for; Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Logic all work fine on the M1 chip. I do feel like the grade I got doesn't fully match the product I received. The apple logo on the back is pretty scuffed as well as there being a few scratches. The scratches are small but they are visible from far away (further than 20cm as listed). Amongst those minor visible defects, unfortunately, the space bar isn't hooked on properly so when I'm typing I have to make sure to slow down a bit in order to hit it properly. From what I can tell, it shouldn't be a difficult fix but I feel like the keys should have been put on properly if I'm paying what I paid at the advertised "excellent quality". Taking into consideration the downsides to this, I feel like it's more then worth it to take a slight hit on the quality as if I were to buy this for brand new I would be paying close to £400 extra. The MacBook functions perfectly. It came at a 168 cycle count ...

I bought an Apple Watch Series 7 (excellent condition) and it was exactly as described and immaculate. Backmarket were extremely helpful and kept in constant contact with me to let me know when the item would arrive. Would highly recommended!

To be honest I was so pleased when I open the packaging, I purchased the Excellent condition MacBook Pro 2018 and it wasn't looking anything less than a brand new one, the charger and the cable also looked brand new, I can't fault it a bit. All that a side it arrived pretty quick, well packed with special protective sleeve. I would recommend Back Market hand on my heart. Thank you guys, I've already recommended your company to all my friends.

I am really delighted with my Macbook Air Retina 13.3 inch! It is so easy to carry around and has everything I need that my older Mac airs no longer had the capacity to be upgraded for. It arrived quite quickly although i had a moment of fear when i saw Fed Ex were doing the delivery - I have had a dreadful experience with them -they always blame the customer - and right on cue, I got an email the Friday the item was due saying, 'You weren't home' and that delivery would be attempted on Monday. Of course I was home, tracking showed the item had been dropped at a depot somewhere not too far away. I am very relieved to say it arrived on the Monday!

Such an amazing MacBook Pro for the price, I bought it in excellent condition and there’s is not a single sign of wear. Really happy. Only thing I would mention is it sounds like a jet engine sometimes but that’s it really.

Your concept is fantastic and my MacBook Air isn’t only helping the environment but it works like brand new. It was so easy to trade in my old device and will continue to use your company. Will 100% recommend you to everyone. ;)

Like the other reviews I was a little sceptical of buying from here initially. I'm glad I finally managed to click pay. The first delivery I received was actually the correct MacBook Pro, however, with 8GB RAM rather than 16GB. Instead of going through Back Market initially, I rang the seller directly. They quickly realised their mistake and told me to send the return. I used the Back Market returns label and posted it back on Monday afternoon - I had my new laptop waiting for me on the Friday! All is working well so far! and the battery cycle count was only 2, which is great considering I went for a good condition. Overall I'm really satisfied with my purchase (one week in).
