I was anxious going with “good” and not “pristine”, but honestly when the Mac, it was hard to not believe it wasn’t brand new. One tiny scratch on top of Mac, but the rest is as new. Booted up incredibly fast and even came with 90%+ battery health!

Next day delivery, I was so surprised, it could easily have passed for a brand new laptop. Also 100% battery capacity. I am pleased with my purchase. No issues so far. Really pleased with this purchase.

Fair is exactly right! Wife is very happy, she noticed the dents on it but honestly I didn’t. Could’ve passed as brand new in my eyes (if you put an apple sticker on the back to cover those classic micro scratches of course 😂). Brilliant. Let’s hope I don’t have to come back and make an edit to this review 👏🏾

Bought for my granddaughter starting university on media production degree. She is over the moon with it as she wasn't expecting to be able to get this because of the cost of a brand new one which would have been outside of our budget. Really happy as this was recommended best for her course by current college tutor

I have indeed changed my mine but more because of the way that your other refurbisher - musicMagpie - handled my trade in. If I cannot trust one of your refurbishers then I must question whether or not I can trust any of them and it will be safer for me to return the above MacBook Pro. Just to be clear, this is not about me not liking musicMagpies valuation (down from 520 GBP to 79 GBP) but about the fact that having returned my MacBook Air it is in fact in excellent condition (I can provide photographs of course). I am not looking to get the assessment changed, it would be too much hassle. I shall sell it on eBay.

I purchased a MacBook Pro (13-inch, M2, 2022) listed in Fair condition. Cosmetically, that description was accurate - there were visible dents and signs of wear, which I expected. However, shortly after using it the screen began glitching, lost colour and then went completely black, even though the Mac itself was still working. This felt like more than normal wear and tear. The device fortunately had AppleCare+, so Apple carried out an extensive repair at no cost. The laptop now works perfectly, but without AppleCare+ this would have been a very costly issue. Back Market did respond and offered repair, replacement or refund, but communication took some time and Apple ultimately resolved the issue faster. Overall, the outcome was positive, but I would advise buyers to check refurbished devices very carefully on arrival and factor in potential issues, especially with “Fair” condition listings.

BackMarket review I was extremely sceptical about the quality of the device I'd be receiving. In all honesty, I can say that I now have 100% faith in shopping with Back Market for all my needs. I bought 2 devices back to back because the macbook air I initially purchased is honesty operating seamlessly. I cannot fault the Macbook Air device I received. It was clean and in fantastic condition for a refurb and operates seamlessly. If you want peace of mind for your money, it's well spent with BackMarket. I am currently looking for another device for my girlfriend. Due to this, I ran back straight to them for the 2nd device (this Macbook Pro) and made a mistake ordering the wrong one! Their support is also fantastic, prompt and rapid. I had responses within the hour and was refunded for both the device and warranty returned without fuss. Phenomenal service. 5 stars!
