Battery faults and unverified battery health on the phone. I was then told that this is fine and was to be expected. It is not clear anywhere when purchasing that non Apple parts would be used and could show as faults. Even if the phone worked I would not be able to sell it on in this condition. It’s not what I expected after spending so much money on a new phone. Really disappointed.

Purchased an iPhone 15 Pro under the “Premium” grading, which clearly states a minimum battery health of 90%. The device I received had 86% battery health. A replacement was sent, and that also failed to meet the advertised standard of >90% it has 83% battery. In addition, the original iPhone 15 pro turned up a week late. Probably DHL issue not back market however BackMarket were not helpfully in forth coming to support finding the device and when it did arrive it had damaged packaging and missing accessories (charging cable). Back market customer service only available via online often taking 12-20hrs to reply and always a different person, replays where very poor and scripted, not supportive at all. When asking for a iPhone 15 Pro which was at Premiure grade which I think is justify as I paid for a premiere grade phone. BackMarket said I am now required to return both the devices meaning I would be with out a phone for 7 to 10 days minum I was not offered any meaningful compensation or practical solution that avoided being left without a phone. Ultimately, I kept the original device for convenience, but it does not meet the Premium standard I paid for. So I have effectly been mugged off. Was only ever asking for what I paid for. Be aware of what you actually get for Premium when buying with BackMarket. I would not recommend paying extra for “Premium” based on this experience. As some of the worst customer service I have received.

Ordered it in Good condition, this is my 6th order over the last few years and the quality of items has decreased HEAVILY. I could order fair condition items and they’d come flawlessly. Now, I ordered this phone in Good condition, received it as Fair with marks all over the sides and back, phone still works perfectly fine minus the overheating issue with the battery. Reached out to customer service who offered me a £45 refund and said it’d be processed - absolutely NO mention of a “up to £45” or a “possible” £45, it was said £45 and that it’ll be sent to be processed. Then another customer service rep replied and says now it’s only a £25 refund, nothing they can do about it. They then only processed £23. Genuinely never had such liars for customer service and definitely would no longer recommend BackMarket, standards have heavily declined.

The device was described as good and that’s what I got. My only complaint would be it was sent via DHL e-commerce which does integrate with the DHL tracking app, which is annoying. As it’s then pot luck where the delivery ends up. I’d rather you used a courier that I can track, especially when I pay extra for the service!
