Purchased for my elderly mum as a replacement to her 5th generation iPad. I’m used to purchasing reconditioned items from various sellers so I thought it might be a good idea to head down that road with the IPad. This is the time I’ve used backmarket. Easy enough to navigate website and IPad was delivered when stated. Customer services not used so unable to comment. As mentioned in product header the condition was considered ‘good’. The iPad had some grubby marks and scratches on the back, but that didn’t bother her as that’s all hidden away within a very tough case I purchased separately from Amazon. She’s had the iPad for a week and she only uses it for brain games / TV / photos and the odd email. Therefore, it’s hard to comment on its long term reliability at this stage.

I am quite happy with the iPad. It works just as a new one does. And I’m glad I decided to go with a refurbished one from back market.

I must admit. I read some reviews and I thought they were fake so I was a bit skeptical however, I went and ordered anyway. I got an IPad 7th Gen in ‘excellent’ condition. When I tell you I gasped when I saw it. I was expecting it to be in great condition but honestly, it is like brand new! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve had it going for about 3 hours now and the sound, screen etc seems to be all working perfectly. Don’t get me wrong there are a few tiny scratches I’ve noticed when I put my light right up and inspected the back. But they are barely noticeable to the naked eye. I’m very happy with my iPad, that was bought for a fraction of the cost of a new one and it’s just as good as a new iPad. Excellent condition with relatively minor markings. It was delivered very quickly. Very satisfied with the whole experience of buying on Back Market.

I ordered an "excellent" condition and whilst is was in very good condition I was disappointed to note a couple of minor defects of the outer casing. Also my biggest disappoint was the packaging it was delivered in - inside a card box the iPad had just been placed in a thin bubble sleeve with a piece of thin cardboard sellotaped around it and a sheet of newspaper stuffed inside. My previous purchase came in a more satisfying purpose made box so this was a huge disappointment. The iPad I purchased was a gift and therefore was rather I inappropriate to be wrapped up the box it arrived in.

Had an issue initially as an ipad with the incorrect storage was shipped originally (though super quick) . Returns process was really simple and it took about a week to get the correct replacement so problem solved with zero hassle or argument. My one issue was that it was shipped 24h tracked rather than signed for, so if it didn't fit through the letterbox my postie would likely have left it on my step which is obviously a bit risky.
