Device arrived - but it has a second 'e' keys - where the 't' key should be, and this 'e' key is not backlit, unlike the rest of the keys on the device.
I've been in touch with Customer Support, but rather than offer a price reduction or send me a replacement 't' key, so that I can keep using the device, the only options are to either send the item back which will take days, followed by days of assessment and repair and then more days for the item to then be posted back (or the replacement if they can't fix it). Or I can request a refund and make another purchase, which will again take days and mean starting over with getting the replacement machine ready for use.
Either way, I'm significantly put out because of a basic quality check error. It seems a little silly that the I, the customer has to bear the cost and inconvenience for a mistake made by BackMarket's oversight. It also seems petty that they can't resolve this by offering a small discount or sending the correct key in the post. Instead, I'll have to spend time and money fixing the issue myself if I want to keep using the machine without interuption.
That said, the machine itself seems good mechanically/electronically aside from this irritating issue.
