Back Market Case iPhone 16 Pro Max and protective screen - 100% Biodegradable - Black Wave

A nice, sleek and classy case for my nearly new phone. Seems to be a quality item (it looks like it). Easy to fit.

I ordered a refurbished iPhone 16 Pro Max along with a Black Market iPhone 16 Pro Max case. The phone itself is excellent – genuinely very happy with the device. However, the experience around the case has been disappointing. I was sent a standard iPhone 16 case, which obviously does not fit the phone I ordered from them. This was clearly an error at their end. When I raised this, I was initially offered £1.09 as a partial refund while keeping the incorrect case, or alternatively to return it for a refund. I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect a customer to incur any cost or inconvenience when the mistake wasn’t theirs. After several emails, they eventually agreed to send the correct case, which I’m still waiting for. It’s now over 10 days since the original order and I still don’t have the case I paid for. So overall: great phone, but poor handling of a simple fulfilment error. It’s small things like this that let the service down and turn what should be a smooth experience into a frustrating one.

Instead of the case I requested for my 16 Pro Max, I received a low-quality, transparent 16 Pro case. It's both the wrong model and a model I don't want.
