I wanted some A50's because of their reputation, and so far I haven't been disappointed. They're made with high quality materials - a sturdy metal, soft foam at the ears and probably leather cushioning up top. It's a revelation to go from wired to wireless, and the base station just feels fancy as all heck and extra convenient. As far as the noise cancelling goes, they don't quite block out a TV in the same room during a quieter moment in your game or a loading screen (although the other half does have it on loud), but when you're in the throes of gaming, you won't hear a thing outside of them. These ones were 'excellent' condition, and cor blimey were they! They came out of the box with that 'brand new' smell, and in the original box as well I might add, it felt like whoever had them before had barely used them. Not sure if that's a testament to the refurb team or not, but it was very impressive. On top of all that, I managed to get £90 back when I traded in my obosolete xbox. All in all, very happy!
