Best Fitbit Black Friday deals to consider in 2023

Updated on 30 October, 2023 - Fitbits are some of the most popular fitness trackers the world over. Anyone can download and use the Fitbit app to track their activities at a basic level. Or, you can get a Fitbit watch to unlock a slew of wellness features and more accurately track your workouts, sleep, diet, etc. If you're thinking of doing that second thing, you're probably aware that Black Friday 2023 is coming up. So let's look at your options to decide: what is the best Fitbit smartwatch to consider this shopping season? And is it worth waiting until Black Friday to buy it?

When will the best Black Friday Fitbit deals start in 2023?

Many Black Friday sales start as early as November 10. However, Fitbit Black Friday deals have historically begun right on the day itself or beginning of the week leading up to the sales day. It then normally lasts the whole weekend, ending on Cyber Monday which is November 27th this year. This year Black Friday is officially on the 24th November.

Some retailers will put older Fitbit devices on sale before that weekend. However, those deals are less predictable meaning you have to look around for them. Similarly, in-store deals can be sweet, but they're harder to find and the stock is more limited.

So if you're really looking to save big on a Fitbit, you either need to wait for Black Friday and get lucky -- or buy a refurbished Fitbit instead! Back Market sells refurbished Fitbit watches and other fitness tracking devices so you can stay on top of your health for much less. With savings of up to 50% off compared to new and 100% functional items, we think buying second hand is the real way to find the best Fitbit deals -- and they're already live too!

We've rounded up a few early Black Friday Fitbit deals that are advertised already (price check on 30/10/2023), however, we promise you won't find it as cheap as Back Market's refurbished deals in comparison:

  • Amazon UK: save 26% on the Fitbit Charge 5 Activity Tracker to purchase for £126.46, instead of £169.99

Which Fitbit should I buy?

Fitbit has quite a few options for fitness enthusiasts. Whether you're looking for something ultra comfortable for everyday wear,  or for something rugged and premium, they have a device that'll suit your needs.

It's worth saying though that even the entry-level models are great fitness trackers. They all include the same baseline features to motivate fitness, and most Fitbits are durable enough and water-resistant up to 50 meters.

So especially if it's your first Fitbit, you can get a ton of benefits and feel healthier without needing to buy the "best Fitbit watch" from the beginning.

Let's now look at some of the more popular Fitbit models. This mini Fitbit buying guide should make sense of the details surrounding the popular fitness trackers -- and make choosing one a lot easier.

Fitbit Versa 3

We suspect that getting a Fitbit Versa 3 on Black Friday is going to be a pretty popular plan -- especially if its £169.99 retail price dips lower!

It has an AMOLED touchscreen display with built-in GPS to elevate the usual fitness features. This means it can more accurately track activities like runs and hikes, and better calculate calories stepped from daily steps. You also get the ability to control your Spotify app like you can with smartwatches like the Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch.

Fitbit Luxe

The Fitbit Luxe is a slim bracelet-like accessory that's supposed to be the most fashionable Fitbit. Of course, it still includes standard features like sleep tracking, stress management, activity logging, etc.

A Good Fitbit Luxe Black Friday deal should dip well below the £99 it usually sells for, which is already a pretty reasonable price for all the utility it gives you.

Fitbit Sense

The Fitbit Sense is priced at £219.99. This makes it one of the more expensive models, but it does include an EDA sensor and ECG sensor to prioritize managing your heart's health. It's one of the more advanced Fitbits, and with heart health being such an important part of overall health, it could definitely be worth the investment.

Fitbit Charge 5

The Fitbit Charge 5 is a jack-of-all-trades within the Fitbit range. It has the GPS functionality of the Versa 3, the slim AMOLED screen from the Luxe, and the EDA sensor for stress from the Sense. It's an easy recommendation from us since it combines so many good features.

The only thing that makes it a tougher sell is that it's a little pricey at £169.99, especially considering how similar it is to the Fitbit Charge 4. Moreover, it does make compromises compared to the other Fitbit models ie. limited exercise options, lack of customization, no physical buttons, and a smaller screen.

Fitbit Inspire 2

While the Inspire 3 was released just recently, the Inspire 2 is still one of our favourites. This 2020 model basically combined the Inspire 1 and Inspire HR. It's a no-frills Fitbit with a simple interface, capable of 24/7 utility.

Fitbit Inspire 2 just monitors your heart rate throughout activities and sleep to give you the most important health insights. With up to 10 days of battery life, you can comfortably keep it on and kind of forget it's even there.

It doesn't get easier than the Inspire 2, and at £49.99, it doesn't get much cheaper either.

Should I wait for the 2023 Fitbit Black Friday deals?

Like electronics, sporting goods are popular products to buy during Black Friday. Since Fitbits are kinda both, it makes sense they'd be particularly good devices to consider during November sales.

Last year, a few older Fitbits were discounted by up to 30%. Models like the Fitbit Charge HR, Fitbit Inspire 2 and Fitbit Charge 4 and Fitbit Ace could be bought for as low as 60 quid! There were a few bargains on newer Fitbits too, but they weren't nearly as good. The best sales are going to be for older models.

So should you wait? Well, while Fitbits do go on sale, we think it's best to take advantage of the older model sales -- and you can already do that today!

When you buy a refurbished Fitbit, you get an older model for even more than just 30% off. On Back Market, we sell refurbished items for up to 70% off compared to the retail price. You're also guaranteed a 100% working Fitbit thanks to professional refurbishing, a 12-month warranty and 30-day returns.

If you want to have the most amazing Black Friday, skip the lines and skip the waiting. You can take advantage of the best deals now, and get the model that most popular reviews are recommending anyway.
