    Device is absolutely fine (now). Speedy deliver, and spec as ordered. However, the device had not been properly set up for a new user. It arrived with the language and key board set to Vietnamese, which presented me with some difficulty. I did eventually manage to reset the language and keyboard, but despite deleting/resetting the device several times, I never got the set up "hello" screen. I was able to transfer some information, but could not restore from backup or otherwise transfer over all of my current settings and apps. I have had to download individually all the apps I use.

    This is more a gripe with the supplier than Backmarket, but also that there needs to be a hakfway house between keep and return, namely partial refund. I chose condition 'good' meaning not a scratch to the glass, yet the glass had 2 very clear deep scratches. The supplier may have attempted to disguise this fact by placing an ineffective (from a touch screen perspective) glass screen protector which, once removed, revealed the 2 deep scratches. This was the second order. 1st was not delivered (from a different supplier) and refund sorted, but the screen of my wife's then current phone was rendering it increasingly impossible to use, and so we progressed to transfer everything to the new phone. I naturally sought recompense to reflect the standard of the phone, rather than order yet another phone, undertake another transfer and then return the one we have.

    The item arrived with in the allotted time period, but there was problems with it. Before I mention them I would like to say that Backmarket was shift to address the issues and arrange a replacement or refund. I could only make calls using a set of USB c head phones as no sound was heard from the speakers and on audio input with the built in Mike. I am waiting for conformation of a replacement unit which at the moment is being dealt with swiftly.
