I had a mixed experience with Back Market, but ultimately I was left disappointed.
My first order was marked as delivered but never arrived. I had to go through a lengthy process, including providing CCTV evidence, before the issue was resolved and a refund was issued. This was very stressful, especially as my account was initially flagged during the investigation. I was later given a small goodwill discount, which I appreciated.
I decided to give it another try and ordered an iPhone 15 Pro Max. The delivery was very fast, arriving in less than 24 hours, which was impressive.
However, I was disappointed with the condition of the device. Despite being listed as “Excellent,” the phone shows an “Unknown” display in the parts and service history, and the battery information displays an unrealistic future manufacture date (2030). This raises concerns about the quality and transparency of the replacement parts used.
While the phone functions well overall, this is not what I would expect from a device advertised in excellent condition. An “Excellent” phone should not have unclear component history or inconsistent battery information.
Overall, although the issue with my first order was eventually resolved, the final experience has left me with concerns about quality control and consistency. Buyers should be cautious and pay close attention to the individual seller, as standards may vary.
