I received the iphone13 within a few days only to find on inspection that it was not the excellent condition phone as expected but a phone with a scratched screen and a tinted protector covering it. A replacement was ordered and came within a few days. The new phone was in excellent condition. The service received in the replacement by Back Market was like the iPhone - excellent I traded in my old phone and the process was so easy. If it wasn’t for the problem with the first iPhone it would have been 5 star

I would not recommend this service. The phone I received has a battery health of only 74%, which is well below the 80% minimum that Back Market promises for refurbished devices. While I appreciate that the available options are a replacement or a refund, I urgently need a phone right now, so neither solution is particularly convenient. I chose Back Market because I expected a device that met the advertised standards and was willing to pay more than I would at many high-street second-hand retailers for that reassurance. Unfortunately, the phone I received did not meet those expectations, and the experience has felt like a waste of money. I would strongly encourage Back Market to ensure that the products they sell match the promises made to customers.

The phone arrived in two days flat, securely packaged, with a new charge cable and the paperclip tool for the SIM tray. Condition was very good, with just a couple of small scratches on the edge. Unfortunately there was no SIM tray. Luckily I was replacing an identical phone with a broken screen, so I just transferred the old tray to the new phone. So it wasn't too big a problem for me, but it seems like quite an oversight, sending out a phone with an empty SIM tray slot.
