One of the main reasons I opted to pay more on Back Market than I saw on other sites (besides the obvious ethical and environmental benefits) was the significant checklist of various things that had been verified working. My mind was put at ease by the inclusion of little details like the volume rocker that many other parties wouldn't test. I had faith that I would only need to make the transaction once and that would be the end of it. The microphone on my phone doesn't work. That's a fairly integral part of the phone. Additionally a plastic part at the top of the case was severed when the phone arrived. Since reporting it I've pretty much been left on my own to deal with the seller. There is no option for a like for like replacement meaning I'm going to have to spend more time looking for a suitable phone. I won't be buying it through Back Market and I will certainly be telling friends to avoid. I'm really disappointed.
