I am very happy with my MacBook Pro Retina, Getting use to my new Mac with all the features.

I just ordered a MacBook Pro. First time I turned on the computer, after a little while it was already very noisy, and seemed to be overheating. Once the setup done I noticed that the battery unloads quite quickly, but most of all, I am getting the message “Service recommended” in the battery section. Now I wonder if this computer had even been refurbished, or just had a data reset? My main issue now is that I have ordered this item while I was on holiday in the UK, now I am back to Mauritius where I live, and sending back the computer will be way too expensive from here. I have tried to send a message on the "Ask for help" chat service but I am not sure if anyone from the seller's side is ever going to reply, and there does not seem to be any way to contact the BackMarket team! It is very frustrating. First and last experience on here!

The device was hacked. I received it in what was advertised as excellent condition. However, after I signed into my Apple ID and account, my user profile and log in password were changed and my Apple ID has been compromised. I can no longer access the laptop using the details I set up and I can no longer access my Apple account. This is something I am now in contact with Apple about, to see if I can recover my account. This is not just affecting this device but has compromised my other Apple products too. I cannot access them. I'm a very disappointed about this and would like Backmarket to investigate the Seller immediately and provide me my refund. The SSD is encrypted, I cannot access Mac Recovery mode. My only option is to Erase Mac.

The laptop arrived earlier than expected, amazing. However, the Touch Bar glitched during inactivity and the laptop kept overheating. Also the touch bar didn’t extend to its full length. This was after two days of use. Other than the laptop was fine. Sent it back and couldn’t be repaired or replaced. A shame really.
