HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Core i5-6500T 2.5 - HDD 500 GB - 8GB

Replaced tower computer running Win10 with HP EliteDesk. Wow, packed with Win 11, and super fast in comparison. Being compact allows more desktop space for backup drives, storage drives, plenty of USB3 ports front and rear. I bought the cheapest, but to look at it you wouldn't know it. Printer connects over wi-fi and Bluetooth built in. Pure simplicity to older Win10 machine which was upgraded over the years from Vista onwards. Old tower now controls cctv system. Well packed, very fast delivery. Well pleased with it as it more than suits my needs. Thank you BackWeb. Have recommended them to friends looking to upgrade at low cost and they are surprised at the low prices.

I love the micro format factor EliteDesk. This i5 'T' version is low powered (35W fully-loaded) and is perfect on which to install Linux. Outstanding! Bought two of these little computers now. Both have been higher spec than advertised, both arrived the next day instead of the quoted 3 days. Both with Windows 11 Pro installed and both work perfectly. Both were 'fair' but look like new. I use them as little home servers, handling email, file serving and a few docker containers - they tick all the boxes - cheaper than the cloud if you've got good broadband, power consumption is low but the performance isn't lacking, almost silent. (And can be virtualised in BIOS). I've switched the spinning disk for SSD in both - this gives a huge performance boost, and the 2nd one I upgraded to 32GB RAM too, all very straightforward. I rarely leave reviews unless my socks have been blown off, full marks all round.

actually buzzin! never expected it to have a WiFi card. it does. didn't think these wee machines would run win 11. well it comes with 11 pro!! Result!. also came with a power lead. delighted!! thank your u
