HP EliteBook 745 G4 14-inch PRO A10-8730B - SSD 128 GB - 8GB QWERTY - English

I’m a happy customer. Didn’t do much research, and my needs are fairly simple, but liked the idea of refurbished replacement for my Dell Inspiron. This came well packaged, clean, and it booted up (Windows 10) without any issues. I feel I’ve got a good product.

First the bad. Advertised as Windows 11 but was installed with Windows 10 - though I am not too bothered about this. The installation did not include all the drivers, meaning I had to download and install these myself - sot too much of an issue for me. The display was davertised as above 108p resolution, but is in fact 1080p - again does not bother me, the 14 inch screen would not suit a higher resolution. And the good. There are very few marks on the laptop - good but I did buy the 'very good' condition. It is very light and quick to boot up. Battery is good. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and will look at using blackmarket in the future. It's just a shame some points are advertised incorrectly.

Laptop is fine and works, but doesn’t hold battery. I understand it’s old but if I’d have known I could only get a couple hours out of a charge I don’t think I’d have bought it Worth noting as new this has a 24 hour life

My laptop had hardware issues that should have been detected during the refurbishment. This has meant the laptop had to be sent back which is of extreme inconvenience to my small business as I work online.

I am by nature "picky". So I was very pleasantly suprized by this deal. Price: good, Product: good, Delivery: good Feedback: good Would I use them again? in a heartbeat

Hi Order No: EU23111762 Product received is not as specified. Storage 237GB v. 128GB. Can't complain about that! Memory 20GB (19.4GB usable) v. 8GB. Again, can't complain. Processor PRO8-9600B v. PRO A10-8730B. Different, but would it show in service? Processor speed 2.40GHz v. 2.5GHz. Again, would that be a problem in service? Operating System Windows 10 Home v. Windows 11. Definitely not acceptable. Resolution 1366x768 v. 2560x1440. Definitely not acceptable. Battery charges to 80% v. guaranteed min 85%. Unacceptable. Backlit keyboard Yes v. No. Irritating light leakage when viewed from a shallow angle but can't find a way to turn it off. Unacceptable. Conclusion: Upgrading from Windows 11 and a higher screen resolution were fundamental reasons to select this laptop. The backlit keyboard and the lower than promised battery life are irritating whilst the storage and memory upgrades are a bonus. How will you handle this? Regards, Hugh Clark
