The phone was delivered promptly and well packaged, however it was not wiped, there was still an android account on the device which meant it could not be set up with a new account. I contacted BackMarket who were very helpful and facilitated the return of the phone to the supplier for a fix. They wiped the phone and sent it back quite quickly, however it now will not accept a SIM, saying that is it network locked. I have been back in touch with BackMarket who are very friendly but basically refusing to take the device back and refund me. It was not an expensive phone, but I feel that I've been more than patient and jumped through hoops for what was ultimately their fault in the first place, not checking the phone was fit for resale in the first instance. Shame really as I like the idea of recycling old tech...
