    My iPad Air was delivered promptly but the quality inspection failed to notice that the Apple Pencil connection wasn’t working. The returns process was awful and the carrier took almost a full week to deliver it despite it being marked as ‘express’. The seller then stonewalled me for the entire repair period and I was only informed they’d failed to repair it when I prompted for an answer after 3 days. I then also had to prompt for a discount code, which I felt was rude after the amount of time and money the whole fiasco had cost me. The whole experience has really shaken my faith in Backmarket and I’ll certainly never use their direct trade in service again, or else I’m apparently risking being left without essential tech for weeks.

    My device arrived almost perfect. The outer case was basically flawless and the screen was flawless. My only issue was the top usbc port doesn’t work properly when taking in power to charge. It keeps making the charging noise. However the bottom usbc port works almost completely fine every time. Both work for connecting devices though so I can’t complain too much
