    In the end it all worked out fine. However I had to send the phone back and get a replacement because it failed to copy/transfer my husband's old phone that it was replacing. Same with the replacement. So it turns out there was probably nothing wrong with either phone. It was the phone we were replacing or user error or both. What would have been really useful would have been someone to talk to on the phone to help me. I didn't even get the opportunity to tell the seller why I was returning it. The guy on chat didn't seem to understand the problem any more than I did. In the end my son helped me. All I needed to know is that I could just start again with the new phone and his email and apple id and everything was then on his new phone anyway. He doesn't have any other apps. Simple really but very stressful that no one at backmarket could tell me that.
