Received a non workable phone, with a burned charging port. Initially, I tried to return it to the seller so they can repair it but received an unacceptable and condescending email from their tech support, informing me that my warranty was voided as I was responsible for the condition of the phone, a phone which I did not even completed installation due to a message on the screen saying that the charging port was disabled, due to water or debris. Tried to send the phone nevertheless but the courier tech, couldn't read the barcode, no matter how many times printed. As I needed to use the phone for a journey abroad, and time was of an essence, I repaired the phone locally, had an amazing experience with my local team but the seller's after sales un-support, is monumental! Back Market team reached out and tried to bridge the gap unsuccessfully by offering a fraction of the cost of the repair, unwilling to accept the responsibility of being unable to control sellers on their website. Overall, a horrible experience, would not recommend to anyone else. Sellers are rogue and BackMarket too weak to introduce quality control and hold sellers into account for failing their customers.

However, the seller sent me a locked phone wrapped in a strip of cardboard with tape inside of a plastic envelope, it was protected but very unprofessional. This shows that the seller can't be bothered to get a decent box or packaging. He does not seem to be reliable in selling a not tested phone.
