    I received my new Mac laptop yesterday & it looked fine & set up with no problems. I used it for a while & noticed it needed to be plugged in surprisingly quickly. Today I checked the battery settings and see a message which reads 'Service Recommended... Important Battery Message. The battery's capacity is significantly reduced. To restore capacity, please check your service options.' I am surprised and disappointed that the refurbishment of this laptop did not deal with the battery, and if it needed replacing, fit a replacement before sale. Are you able to arrange a repair/batery replacement, or am I on my own with this problem? (First time using Back Market)

    I purchased this after much research on the exact specs that were right for me. Despite the purchase going ahead and my card being charged, it turns out the item was actually out of stock... but this didn't become apparent until a week after my order was placed, when I sent a query to customer care to ask for an update as it hadn't been shipped yet. I was first told that my "package was either not shipped or shipped but not tracked". The next day I was told the seller didn't have the item I ordered in stock and given a full refund, and 5% off my next purchase. Customer service has been pretty good, but still a disappoint experience and a waste of my time.

    You sent me the wrong device, and refused to exchange it. A month of fighting with your useless and slow customer service that I’m 80% sure are bots , I caved and agreed to a return and use the measly 10% code to buy another one of the laptop I ordered . Only to receive the wrong laptop again. Same options given again, and because I’m not engaging in your bullshit again I am returning both and never shopping with you again and recommending the same to everyone I know, online and in person. I’ve never actually been screwed over so hard by a retailer in my life I’m actually still in disbelief as to how you can be such a well known company with such poor day to day running, and wrought with inefficiencies. A whole month as a dissertation final year student, who opted for your company to save money and instead was rewarded with the expectation to fix your mistake and pay more money for the laptop I already ordered, and after being ignored finally caving and doing just that only to be given the wrong device again. It’s shameful, it’s ridiculous, and almost impressive how you managed to turn a simple transaction into a month long saga that almost tipped me over the edge. The fact there is no customer service number also adds to the nonsensical nature of ur organisation, with ur operators answering a message once a day and this longing out any process and demonstrating that Backmarket has absolutely no interest in its customers or rectifying their mistakes. I have been offered no financial compensation for the amount of time, effort and productivity you have cost me, or the distress you have caused. In closing, I sincerely hope you lot get shut down. You are essentially a glorified eBay account, and should sell your headquarters in every city to an independent start up who make chocolate teapots, as they would be more use to the general public than you.
