    I won't be buying refurbished MacBooks anymore - regardless of whether it's from Back Market or elsewhere. While under warranty, the screen just stopped working. I sent it back but they said it isn't covered under warranty. Getting a new screen would cost as much as a new Mac, and who's to say the new screen wouldn't just break too? Too much of a gamble. I'm very frustrated plus sad that I have this MacBook that I can't use nor even sell for parts. It's just sitting there, ugh such a waste! ALSO when I originally received the machine, it wouldn't charge. I had started to set it up with my account. I sent it back and they said they were swapping the machine with a new one but when they sent it, it had my account on it so it was the same one? 🥴

    The item is fine - but i was in a slight panic when neither of the USB-C ports seemed to be working(!). The generic power lead didn't fit/work and the USB>USB-C adaptor I bought didn't, either. In the event, the ports were fine - all I needed was a visit to my apple store an apple lead and adaptor: showing that the ports were, in fact, totally fine (as testing will have shown, no doubt. In the end, the Q is why send out a power lead that clearly was never going to work? It really had me going for a bit!

    Didn’t realise it wouldn’t come with an original apple charger, also didn’t realise it would come with an American keyboard. It also came a day late. Otherwise it works really well and it was very well packaged. I’d shop with Backmarket again, but maybe not for laptops.
