    I ordered this item but it didn’t arrive on the day I was promised or the latest date as stated in backmarket - I contacted the seller 3 times, a week has passed and I didn’t receive a single response- I got in touch with backmarket and they contacted the seller and that’s when my order was handed over to DHL Dubai and it took another 5 days to arrive - in the interim I already bought another MacBook also from backmarket but a UK supplier and this arrived within 2 days.. stay clear of this seller - there’s lots of reviews about them online - in backmarket they’re CRS but they’re also known as YESAGAIN! Check their reviews. I received it today, haven’t opened the package - this will be returned unopened!

    I ordered a 2019 laptop, but they sent me a 2015 version (hopefully an innocent mistake) which arrived a day late. There is no support phone no. so I had to rely on their online system which meant waiting hours for a response between messages. I was told I need to return the wrong item and either wait for an exchange (if they have stock and warned it was a longer solution) or wait for a refund once they receive the returned item and then place a whole new order. BackMarket will do nothing to honour my original order which I still don't have. In the meantime, I have had to complete the returns process with the wrong item which includes printing labels, taking photos, repackaging and taking to a Post Office. As the retailer made the mistake, I feel they should take responsibility by immediately sending the correct item without making me jump through hoops, especially as they still have my money. Customers shouldn’t have to take on the burden of fixing the retailer’s error, this is consumer law. I’d like other consumers to beware: BackMarket takes no responsibility if they send the wrong item and won’t make an effort to get you the correct one you paid for.
