    I'm not impressed with this supposedly "excellent" macbook. When I first turned it on it came up with a message to say it had closed down due to problem (paraphrased). I left it plugged in and charging while I went out for the afternoon. On returning I found it unresponsive so had to force shutdown. Restarting it and again it said it had closed down due to a problem. I'm now trying to reinstall the OS to see if that makes it work as it should. Really disappointed!

    Misleading listing, faulty item, and a stressful return — not recommended I ordered a MacBook Pro M1 listed as “Excellent” condition, but the product I received was far from it. There was a dead pixel on the display — a permanent defect that should have been caught in quality control. That alone would’ve been disappointing, but it didn’t stop there. The device was shipped from the UAE, something not disclosed on the product page, and it came with an American-English keyboard layout. For a UK buyer, this means a much smaller Return key and a different keyboard feel — again, not mentioned anywhere in the listing. These kinds of omissions matter and really should be made clear upfront. Returning the item was even more stressful than receiving it. After posting it back, I was told it had been “lost or stolen”, and had to go through a drawn-out process providing proof of postage, delivery confirmation, and even a photo of my ID. To their credit, the customer service team was helpful and respectful, albeit slow to respond — and once everything was verified, they did issue a full refund fairly quickly. Still, the overall experience left me with little trust in this seller (CRS) and Back Market as a whole. Between the misleading listing, faulty item, and stressful return, I won’t be buying from them again — and I’d strongly advise others to be cautious.
