    The HomePod works fabulously. There wasn’t an Apple charger inside though which was a Shame as these come with Apple plugs normally. So not a saving at all buying refurbished.

    The device was ordered in Excellent condition but what I received was far from it. The laptop had not been refurbished whatsoever, the filth that this laptop was covered in was crazy. Chocolate in the vents, enough dirt and crumbs under the keyboard to the point where I could not use some of the keys on the keyboard as they wouldn’t press down properly. The screen had a strip of dead pixels and chips scratches and scuffs all over it. I would recommend Backmarket took this “refurbisher” off of their site as this is not the first bad review and will not be the last.

    I am beyond frustrated with this experience. I ordered a MacBook Pro in "Excellent" condition, but what I received was a complete insult. The laptop arrived in "rough" condition, to say the least—it was literally covered in mud, heavily scratched, and had multiple dents across the back. It is clear the seller attempted a "botched" repair job to hide the damage, but they failed miserably. This isn't just a mistake; it is a blatant attempt to cheat a customer. I have wasted two weeks waiting for this, and as a result, they completely ruined the birthday surprise I had planned for my son on February 1st. I am left with a mess of a laptop and a missed milestone. Avoid this seller at all costs—they are dishonest and have zero quality control.

    I have ordered a few items through Back Market over the last couple of years and always seem to experience the 'rule of two' - first item sub par and has to be replaced. Unfortunately the same was on this occasion when I ordered an 'Excellent' quality MacBook Pro for my girlfriend as a gift for her uni course. I ordered around New Year so there was a bit of a delay in delivery which was fine but the final product was definitely not 'Excellent'.. The outer case had quite a few marks over it - some temporary (sticker adhesive, light marks) and some permanent (knocks on each corner). There were also a lot of service stickers still on it - barcodes etc. That was nothing compared to what lurked under the screen as when I opened it, it clearly had not been cleaned. The keyboard looked like it had been sneezed on - there was residue on each key and some unnerving blobs of baked on... something? The screen was also peppered with marks which backed up the sneeze hypothesis. The unit was just a bit... grubby. The supplied charger and plug looked like they had been kicked around a car park before going directly into the box. The unit was not well packaged generally either and the whole process seemed slap dash. I opened the box, looked at the unit, took photos and put it in the box. It was resealed within ten minutes of being delivered. I have since bought a different unit from a different merchant on Back Market and had a much better experience. The rule of two strikes again!
