I bought a connected watch with breakage insurance on 15 May. On 1 September the screen came off the case without any impact (screen and case without any trace of a blow). After a month of trying to work out how to get it repaired, the seller declared that the warranty was excluded because of impact or pressure. When I called back, there were no marks on either the screen or the case. The seal must have been well made for the screen to fall out. I was told to check with Evy insurance (insurance taken out with backmarket), who told me that they couldn't deal with my request because they didn't have enough information about the incident. As a result, I bought a £125 watch with £10 insurance for breakage, and I have no use for either of them.
