phone charge port intermittent charging and headphone jack does not work no music through headphones. contact customer service, directs you to your account that says sorry, no orders as yet. back to the beginning, same again!! phone has to be put into a 3rd part to fix at my expense as I can't get through to this company, cost £70! What use is a years warranty if you can't make a claim. Would I recommend or buy again? NOPE! unfortunately, the quality control department has not done its job on thei occasion!

Bought this One Plus 6 in order to install Linux on it to experiment and test the state of linux on smartphones in 2024. The product photos therefore show it running PostMarket OS, not OxygenOS-Android. About my experience with BackMarket: Sometimes difficult to know where the package is, and the box is much too big compared to the contents. However, in my case the phone was well secured in the box and therefore protected from shocks, contrary to what you might hear from other reviews. Concerning the condition of the phone: The phone is in excellent condition, I have the impression that it is as good as new. It came with a charger, which is probably not the original one, but it works. Before installing Linux on it I obviously quickly configured Android (Oxygen OS in the case of the One Plus) to install BackMarket and do the tests: everything worked. I didn't test the battery under Android because I was impatient to start my experiment, but under Linux, without using the laptop (in standby) the battery lasts much longer than 2 to 3 days. Came as a gift for my son and has worked perfectly so far... cool and a good alternative to a new phone! The kid has been really happy and hasn't noticed that it's not a brand new one.

Problem repaired after sending back to seller during warranty period. The laptop sometimes shuts down when charging or when used for games for more than 20/30 minutes. The problem came back the same after the end of the warranty, a small repairer near me changed the battery (it had already been changed). Kept for a few more months, using a cold gel pack during charging to prevent overheating. Then, after 21 months of loyal service, it finally gave up the ghost. Doesn't turn on any more, feels like the on/off button is out of place and nothing happens when I put it on charge. Satisfied with the phone despite the battery problems, I have just re-ordered the same one.
