Recently purchased a MacBook Pro Retina 16-inch (2019) that was described as being in "good" condition. It arrived within 3 days of ordering it. It is absolutely pristine and I genuinely cannot find a mark on it. This order arrived really fast! I looked into the specs, looked at the quality and any signs of wear and this was sold to me as the middle standard “good” but it’s outstanding. Any marks are unnoticeable unless you’re looking for them of course - the screen is brilliant quality. I had a hiccup with concerns over the battery health but it turns out I needed to run an update for a clearer result and I am more than happy with that too - but when I was feeling on edge about the battery, the seller was more than happy to take it back and replace if need be and backmarket were politely and readily facilitating where necessary. This was a great experience but the seller has been fab with timing, the product and customer service. I would certainly buy tech from them in future and have total faith in what quality I could expect to receive. For something labelled “good”, this was excellent. We bought this for my grandsons 18th birthday, he chose it for his digital music and he is very pleased with it. There were no marks on it, the first thing he did was put it on charge and then wait for about 40 minutes for it to upgrade. Well I was simply sent the wrong laptop, the 15 inch Macbook Pro and not the 16 inch as described. I tried to contact BM about returning it for the laptop I had ordered, I received one message a day over the course of a few days, relaying basic information at a snails pace. Eventually I was given 2 options: a partial £40 refund or a replacement laptop. I said I would prefer a replacement laptop, moments later I received a refund of £100? At this point, I lost faith in the whole system, accepted the refund and moved on, cynically accepting that organising a replacement was simply an unattainable dream.
