MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch (2018) - Core i5 - 8GB SSD 256 AZERTY - French

I ordered a 13" Retina MacBook Pro Touch Bar (2018) - Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, QWERTY keyboard. Basically, I just wanted a decent machine for work, nothing more. But what I received exceeded ALL my expectations! 👉 Already, instead of the 2018 model, I received a 2019 MacBook Pro, equipped with a Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD! A real monster. 😳 And guess what? All at no extra cost. It was Back Market customer service who offered me a free upgrade, as the original model was no longer available. They got back to me in just a few minutes, with professionalism and kindness. Frankly, I've rarely seen such responsive support. 💻 The MacBook arrived super fast, well packaged, with its official charger, no scratches, no defects... When I unpacked it, I thought it was a brand new product because it was so clean. Really, almost perfect condition, nothing to complain about. I'm a student, I need a reliable, high-performance computer, and here I've been upgraded without even asking. I've been using this refurbished MacBook for several months now and I have nothing to say, it's great and I'm extremely satisfied with it. I got it mainly to take notes in class and to store photos/videos. It lives up to my expectations. To be honest, I didn't notice any particular knocks or scratches, it arrived just fine, but I made sure I had a sleeve for the computer so that everything would be protected afterwards. I'm delighted to have made this purchase and can't get enough of it. The only little hitch is the initial setting to put the keyboard back into azerty mode and not qwerty in the settings, as I had a bit of trouble configuring this everywhere, but a little tutorial on YouTube to clear things up and that was it. Otherwise, it's brilliant.

Mac that works great, very reasonable price. One downside, however, is the battery, which doesn't last more than 3 hours. I had chosen the "perfect condition" option. I'll have it changed at Apple (additional cost: €300).

As far as delivery and the condition of the item are concerned, there's nothing to say. However, although the keyboard is Azerty as advertised, it's not a French keyboard, which is mentioned in the description. I needed this computer and I'll survive with this keyboard, but this way of doing things is not honest.

Good mac, sufficiently powerful. In good condition as requested and no visible defects once opened. The gift of 512gb storage rather than 256 is very welcome. However, the battery only lasts for 2 hours and 2 hours 30 minutes with applications that don't consume a lot of power. I would certainly change it in the future. I'll see if I can ask Okamac to change the battery (for a fee, depending on the price and type of battery) without losing their warranty. If that's the case, I'll change my mind.

So far I'm very happy with my MacBook Pro. The condition is impeccable (ordered in very good condition). The delivery was fast but the keyboard was in Norwegian so it was a pain to configure it but then I managed to change it in the settings. The only downside is that the charger supplied is not a real Apple one, whereas on the photos in the advert, it is a real Apple charger.
