The laptop came well packaged and it's condition matches the description on BackMarket i.e. it is not new but in very good condition. It came with some kind of MS Windows which I did not care about. I had no trouble booting it into Linux (Ubuntu) from a USB stick and then installing Linux on it. I have now used the laptop for just over two weeks and it is working very well for me. I don't do anything very processor or graphics intensive on it (mostly just editing text in vim and reading PDFs) and the battery life for me nearly 8 hours. And under my kind of usage the CPU fan hardly ever comes on so it is totally silent most of the time!
