    I was looking to upgrade my iPhone XR and was torn between the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. I ideally wanted to get one from Apple’s Certified Refurbished store, but at the time only iPhone 12’s were available and I’d heard issues about them running hot. I was doing my best to patiently wait for Apple’s 13 Pro’s to show up, but then I found BackMarket - and I’m so glad I did. I’ve only ever bought new before, so I was definitely taking a risk going for refurbished, but with a 30 returns policy (which was extended over the Christmas Period when I bought) I thought if I see a good price, I’ll take the risk! I ended up going for an iPhone 13 Pro Max 256GB Graphite model in Good condition, and the only damage was a minor scrape in the upper right corner, only on the edge of the phone. The screen, camera’s and rest of the bodywork were in mint condition. The battery health was at a stunning 98% max capacity, and the thing lasts two days with decent usage before needing a charge (still only gets to about 10-20%). The size of the Pro Max compared to an XR feels like a natural progression, and the 120Hz Pro Motion is a night and day difference. Can’t recommend the phone or back market enough - item arrived less than 2 days from ordering and I saved considerably choosing a ‘Good’ condition phone.

    The service was very efficient and the iPhone XR 128GB was received on time. We chose a phone in 'good' condition but were pleased to see there were virtually no marks on it other than a tiny bit of paint finish missing around the camera lens. The only negative we have discovered so far is that the battery only charges to 80% of its original capacity. We have accepted this is likely to be normal on a reconditioned phone where the battery is the original although we understand at this point it is normally recpommended the battery be replaced!

    Really like this phone, slightly larger than previous one (Samsung S8) Although it's refurbished and condition described as 'Fair' it looks in pristine condition,like new, with no marks, dents or scratches visible. Clear display,good camera, no complaints.

    It arrived really quickly, I purchased the iPhone 12 Pro Max in the Good Condition and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Everything works smoothly, the battery isn’t too bad it came with a battery life of 89% which I said was the lowest I’d go for battery charge on a refurbished phone. There was some dirt around the camera lens though which I had to clean, that was my only issue but it was easily resolved. The camera is spectacular and my goodness the storage space is absolutely wonderful. There was hardly any scratches on the screen only one nick at the corner of the phone but it was hardly noticeable. Extremely happy customer here :)

    I can thoroughly recommend Back Market as a place to go for a refurbished phone. My old iPhone was dying but I was hesitating getting a brand new one. So glad Back Market came up on a Google search! I am totally delighted with my purchase, a 3 year old iPhone at a quarter of the price I'd pay for a brand new one. I opted for a 'good' category model and as others have said in reviews, it came in perfect condition. No scratches, beautifully clean, quick delivery, great communication and easy to set up. I am recommending you to friends and family as a great way of saving money and recycling in such a very positive way.

    The phone arrived with 80% battery health as expected, as well as and with some scratches on the back. However, there were several visible scratches on the screen, which wasn’t expected given I ordered a phone in “good” condition. Additionally, the charging cable that came with it was faulty. I was originally offered a voucher to replace it, which I was later told was not possible, so then got a refund of £10 instead, which I used to order an authentic Apple charger instead. I had some issues with device performance (battery/phone overheating, awful battery performance, intermittent unresponsive screen/speakers and network issues), and although I sent it off to be repaired (with the 12 month warranty), the phone was sent back with no information on what was checked or any fixes that had been done. For all I know the seller could have done nothing as I have no record what they actually checked. Backmarket customer service was great, but I can’t say much for the seller themselves, as they gave me zero information. In the end I traded in the phone after just over a year, and have now got a new one. As a result I’m a bit reluctant to order a phone from here in “good” condition again, as that definition clearly varies widely between sellers.

    I bought a fair condition iPhone 11 and it’s perfect! Like brand new. Maybe one tiny scratch that you wouldn’t even notice unless you really checked it out. Definitely much better than spending out a grand on a phone or a 2 year contract
