    I had this laptop for just under 3 months, when it, in the middle of my work meeting, crashed. I then tried to restart the laptop but it kept telling me that the hard drive was not found anymore. I, of course, reported this to the customer service team and sent the laptop back as I was told it was covered under warranty. A few days later, I received a message by the customer service team informing me that I had submitted by laptop to a third party before sending it back, and that it wasn't covered under warranty anymore. I have never submitted my laptop to a third party. When I explained this, they then said that it was due the warranty not covering 'accidental damage' and that they apologise if this causes 'any inconveniences'. This is incredibly disappointing. I chose Backmarket over other Refurbished companies as they are actively promoting environmentalism and long lasting products. Neither of those two aspects seem to be upheld.

    My much-loved desktop computer broke down while my financial situation was not great. I was in dare need of a PC to save me completing my tasks. I therefore cannot sing your praises enough, BackMarket, for the quality and functionality of the laptop bought. Apart from a few hardly noticeable scratches and some non-functioning F-keys, the computer could easily pass as new. Screen - A little smaller than what I had been using, having moved from a long-time use of desktop computer. However, it is alright and now getting used to the screen. No scratches or cracks noted. Looks almost new! Operating system - This is an upgrade for me. It is great and makes my task easier and faster. Use - Though used as a personal computer, I like that it serves its purpose. I only wish I could have gone for a higher resolution because I love well defined and rich graphics. I will, however, seek ways to improve this. But not brilliant considering the price. Connectivity: The Wi-Fi connection is great. Moreover, linking my laptop with my other devices via Bluetooth is awesome. Budget: I am overly impressed that with my tiny budget, I can get such an impressively useful product. Overall, a wonderful experience and an excellent product for a small budget. I am singing your praises to friends and family, and will patronise again. Thank you so much, BackMarket, you are a lifesaver!

    Poor battery health. I did a quick diagnostic of my laptop by going into diagnostics settings at the stage of boot up. There was no visible issue/bugs/errors. But, When I was transferring files from my phone to laptop, battery % dropped from 75% to 8% in less than 40min and Laptop was getting hot. Physical condition of the laptop is still good with little scratches and dents here and there. Only downside is battery and heating issues. I hope it gets fixed.
