    Receive the macbook quickly and packaging was great, all components in very good quality. Actual macbook had a software issue so contacted the customer service team and they provided me with a shipping label and sent it back in the post free of charge. Received a phone call from the company saying that I would need to get a replacement macbook, which was provided free of charge, and very quickly. Have no issues now, and is in great shape.

    I recently purchased a laptop from Back Market listed in “excellent condition,” but unfortunately, the device I received does not meet that standard. There are visible scuffs and damage to the case around the screen, which clearly doesn’t align with what I’d expect from an item graded as excellent. Additionally, there’s a noticeable gap between the screen and the case, allowing light to leak through—something that indicates poor assembly or wear. While I appreciate the idea behind refurbished electronics and sustainability, it’s disappointing when the quality grading isn’t accurate. I’m hoping Back Market can address this and ensure more consistent quality control moving forward.

    Can't fault the buying process and the speed of delivery. Issue was with the laptop. It was purchased as "excellent" which it was cosmetically but the laptop got red hot as soon as it was turned on, the fan was really loud with a high pitched buzzing noise. I sent the laptop back and I'm awaiting a refund.

    Process of buying and trading it was super smooth. In terms of the item received, the machine is great, but I asked for a "Flawless" grade machine, and whilst the screen and body is flawless, there are some large very noticeable scrapes on the metal bezel of the screen. I imagine these may be from replacing the screen in the past. Additionally some of the keycaps are notably third party and look out of place. Some of the keys are also incorrect for the UK layout it was billed as.
