    The computer was delivered with an English version of the operating system, and was unusable because the drivers were missing, but above all the UEFI was too old and probably damaged. After analysis, the read speed of the hard disk was, for example, 135MB seconds, whereas an SSD of this type should be around 3500. The sound jerked, so did the mouse, and when you pressed a key you had to wait 3 seconds for it to appear on the screen, in short, it was unusable. Given that I have sufficient knowledge of computers, I was able to understand the problem and solve it (UEFI update, reinstallation of Windows 11 in French, installation/update of all the drivers), but it took me a long time and it's absolutely abnormal to send such a badly pre-installed computer to a customer. What's more, when I reinstalled the keyboard and trackpad weren't detected, nor was the wifi card, so I had to use external peripherals and an adapter given the computer's low number of USB ports. Fortunately for me, the computer works fine now, but it cost me my Sunday. An average customer wouldn't have known what to do, would have sent the computer back or used a mediocre system, even though the machine is pretty good once it's properly installed. I'd also like to add that a relatively high contact voltage is felt depending on which way you plug in the power supply (which is not earthed). From what I've seen on the Net, this seems to be the case with all Surface Laptop 4s. It's rather unpleasant and surprising (although not dangerous in theory). You should therefore reverse the direction of the plug in the wall if you feel electricity when touching the shell of the computer.
