I've bought a couple of refurbished Lenovo Think Pads for our field team over the past 12 months but they were from a different refurbisher, not through BackMarket. As the other company didn't have any in stock when I needed another one, and having purchased 3 refurbished mobiles from Back Market before and been delighted, I thought I'd give one a go. The laptop works perfectly and is quick, suggesting that much of the bloat associated with new equipment has been removed. The case is a bit 'shiny', unlike the matt finish I've received before so I suspect this has been done to try to make the laptop look as good as it could, and someone went a bit overboard with the dashboard polish! Personally, I'd have preferred a slightly scratched matt finish but this is a minor gripe. I'm in the process of loading some diagnostic software and this is a time consuming and tricky process but the laptop seems to be handling it ith ease, so if it performs as well in the field once it reaches its new owner, I'll be a happy shopper.

my order arrived, the laptop itself was in excellent condition. I however did a factory reset as there was still apps and files installed. however the charger that accompanied the laptop made minimal contact with the charging port, I would go as far as saying it was the wrong charger.

The laptop is great but the battery is useless. On full charge it lasts about half an hour so I just removed it and plugged the lead in. The screen also goes nuts when the battery is in. It's well worth the money.

Sorry, I haven't even opened the box yet. I thought my present laptop was broken so I bought this as a replacement. However, my laptop started working again. I will keep this laptop for future when my present laptop breaks down completely. Thank you.

This only gets a smiley because anything less leads to broken links to stop bad reviews. Why have you sent me an email with links and directions to links that do not work? "Unhappy Contact Us" - does not work; I cannot contact you. "Leave a Review" and select an unhappy face and you are directed to "Go to Help Centre" and then "404 Gottferdam This link has not yet been refurbished" and then offered some condescending video. You have obviously removed your Help Centre; this does not represent good Customer Service; Why can I not contact you! I can find no help available on your website and you have now made what was a disappointing experience into one that has filled me with anger. The laptop that you sent me is not as specified. I was considering keeping it regardless, but now I will spend my Bank Holiday clearing my data from the HDD (note HDD not SSD as specified!) and will return it; don't expect my reviews of your services to be favourable; they will not be. I have used you a few times in the past but this experience has put me off; luckily, I have other choices. Disappointed and angry!
